We just finished my (now) 12 year old stepson's birthday party. It's the first sleepover party we've ever held, since we just got custody of him.
I am proud to say it went off without a hitch. Our homemade ice cream cake passed the test, and it was easier to make than I thought it would be. My son's friends were polite, and he was excited with the presents we got him.
Now we've got to start planning my daughter's second birthday in January, and we'll be clear for the year.

Just wanted to offer a tip, I recommend changing the links in your side bar so they no longer say Edit Me. One step that can make your blog look much more professional.
